Conference on Kerry's Wildlife and Biodiversity
2-day event
Organisers: MTU Kerry Wildlife Biology Programme and Kerry County Council
Friday includes three biodiversity themes:

  1. Coastal and Marine
  2. Terrestrial
  3. Wetlands

Guest speakers will present their work on selected wildlife projects or species and updates on their conservation throughout the county. Discussion panels will provide active participation by all attendees throughout the day.
Welcome by: Minister Christopher O'Sullivan
Keynote Speaker: Dr. Liam Lysaght (National Biodiversity Data Centre, Waterford).
Posters and other information desks will provide additional information of up to date research and developments.
Saturday includes a mini BioBlitz where participants will have the opportunity to improve their practical skills on-campus in species identification, including plants, moths, birds, small mammals.
