The PEPAYS (Physical Education, Physical Activity and Youth Sport) Forum 2024 is being hosted by the Department of Health and Leisure Studies in MTU Kerry Campus.

The goal of PEPAYS is to develop a critical mass of researchers actively contributing to multi-disciplinary and multi-entity research that impacts policy and practice related to health and well-being of populations in the areas of physical education, sport, physical activity and health. The research forum is an opportunity for researchers to share their findings amongst the PEPAYS community.

The conference theme for 2024 is 'Leave No One Behind', to reflect the central, transformative promise of the 2030 Agenda. A particular emphasis will be placed on ways of ending discrimination and exclusion, and reducing inequalities and vulnerabilities in the physical education, physical activity and youth sport contexts. Along with parallel oral research presentation sessions, there will be a number of keynotes to reflect the theme of the forum.
