The Rory Gallagher Theather is a dedicated perfoming arts venue in the heart of the MTU Bishopstown Campus.

106-seater tiered auditorium with proscenium-arch stage, and 4 allocated wheelchair user spaces.

Suitable for small to medium size theatrical productions, dance, live music, film screenings, presentations, and more.

It was named after Rory Gallagher, the legendary blues guitarist who had a long association with Cork City, who played an acoustic set in the Atrium MTU Bishopstown Campus, Cork (then RTC Cork) in 1993 as the headline act of the inaugural ArtsFest. 

The Food Hall near the theatre is open from 8:15am until 8:15pm Monday to Thursday, until 3pm on Fridays.

Parking

Car parking is available on site in Bishopstown, though car parks are heavily utilised between 8am and 5pm on weekdays.  Car parks are signposted when arriving at the campus.  Pay car parks are restricted to staff & students, free car parking is available in the "Tiered Parking". We recommend you allow up to 15 minutes for walking from the carparking to the venue.
