MTU Arts Office in association with Sample Studios is delighted to announce the next Creative Breaks lunchtime workshop series for MTU staff, offered on MTU Bishopstown Campus this November-December with artist Kate McElroy.
CREATIVE BREAKS Lunchtime Workshops are introductory workshops facilitated by professional artists, presented by MTU Arts Office in association with Sample Studios.

Exploring Drawing, with Kate McElroy
MTU Bishopstown Campus Library, Library Meeting Room
1-2pm, Thursdays 28 NOVEMBER, 5 DECEMBER, 12 DECEMBER
Immerse yourself in the world of creativity with our six-week drawing workshop series, designed for beginners and enthusiasts alike. Each week introduces a new, exciting technique.
Week 1 kicks off with Mini Sketchbooks, where you'll create small, portable sketchbooks perfect for capturing ideas on the go.
Week 2 blends Drawing and Watercolour, teaching you how to integrate these mediums for vibrant, layered artworks.
Conclude with Week 3’s Monoprinting, where you'll discover the art of creating one-of-a-kind prints with intriguing textures and patterns, incorporating card making and paper decorations!
No previous experience is necessary—just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to explore!
The Creative Breaks Lunchtime Workshops Series is coordinated by MTU Arts Office and Sample-Studios, a professional artists studio group based in Cork City.
