This is a one day workshop in Eco Arts practice that will take place along the Lee fields and in Fitzgerald Park, Cork.

The day begins with a nature walk that will facilitate exploration of awareness and connection natural environments through slow listening, slow looking and creative engagement
The walk will be lead by bird and nature expert Dara Fitzpatrick. The walk will incorporate observation and creative response

The second part of the day will explore the abundance with in nature to enable creative expression. It will explore how to harvest to create natural inks dyes and other creative processes. The workshop will not provide hands on experience in making inks and dyes but will explore how to harvest and give you lots of inspiration to explore further. There will be some hands on creative activities incorporated into the workshop.
The afternoon is led by Eco artist Ashleigh Ellis


Wear suitable clothes for walking and being in the outdoors.
Meeting point is the entrance to County Hall on the Carrigrohane Rd

Bring a packed lunch if you wish. There is also a lovely cafe.
