The MTU Careers Fair will help you as a leading employer connect with MTU students. The information and advice that students receive from you, plays a key role in developing student skills, and informs their career choice as they transition into professional life.
This year's on-campus career fair promises to be a popular event, so we recommend that you book early to avoid disappointment. Once slots are filled, we will contact organisations on our waiting list, should spaces arise.
Important Information
Career Fair App:
MTU Careers are delighted to introduce the MTU Career Fair App. Once you have booked, you will receive a ticket reserving a stand at the Career Fair. This ticket will provide a link pertaining to the MTU Career Fair App. You will be asked to submit information about your organisation and graduate opportunities. It is important that this is completed upon booking as this information is vital for students and staff of MTU.
The app will help you connect with relevant students and boost your on-campus brand. It will be used by students and academic colleagues to research organisations & offerings pre and post fair. It will also host information about the Careers Fair including the floor layout plan.
We are eager to receive your submissions as soon as possible. Our Career App trusted partner is Career Soft (Career Fair Plus) and you can contact them directly if you require any more information at support@careerfairplus.com.
Stand Size:
Please ensure that your stand / equipment fits into the allocated space.
Please note there is a maximum of one stand per organisation and a maximum of 4 people per stand.
MTU will provide a 4ft table, 2 chairs, tablecloth and bottled Water. Plug points are available on request. This space will accommodate a standard 85cm pop-up sized stand. Cost: €300.00
If paying by invoice, please note the following:
You may book a stand without a PO number, but it must be submitted as soon as possible thereafter.
All bookings are subject to receipt of paperwork below.
Once you have booked in, you will receive a ticket confirming your reservation of a stand at the Career Fair. To have a guaranteed booking please ensure that the following tasks are completed at your earliest convenience.
After booking, please submit information to populate the Career Fair App ASAP.

Don’t delay in booking:
Please note that this fair books out very quickly. Once slots fill, we operate a waiting list system and will fill slots as they become available.
Cancellation:
In the event of cancellation, a refund will be issued provided that the cancellation request is received by email at careerskerry@mtu.ie within 28 days of the event.
Careers Fair 2024 FAQs
WHAT TIME CAN WE ACCESS the MTU Kerry North venue TO SET UP?
MTU Kerry North Campus will be open on the day of the Fair from 8.00 AM on Tuesday Oct 8th. You may set up stands from 8am on the day.
CAN EXHIBITOR STANDS BE DELIVERED IN ADVANCE?
Stands may be delivered to MTU Kerry North Campus on Monday, October 7th. Storage is at your own risk and MTU do not accept any liability for any damage/theft etc.
ARE TROLLEYS PROVIDED?
Yes, trolleys will be provided.
WILL WE HAVE HELP TO UNLOAD?
We suggest that you have sufficient staff to unload and set up your stand. Student Leaders will also be available to help wherever possible.
START AND FINISH TIME OF CAREERS FAIR
The Careers Fair will start at 10.00 AM with an employer breakfast. The fair is open to students from 11.00 AM and will finish at 2.00 pm.
WHERE CAN I GET SOMETHING TO EAT?
Complimentary Employer Breakfast: This is an informal meet and greet for exhibitors and staff members of MTU which will take place in the BIT canteen and will commence at 10.00 AM. The employer breakfast is for one hour approximately. This is a nice opportunity to connect with other exhibitors and staff of MTU in an informal and relaxed setting.
I’M NOT SURE MY STAND WILL FIT INTO THE ALLOCATED SPACE!
Please measure your stand carefully before booking. Regretfully we cannot change the layout on the day. The standard size contains one 4ft table and 2 chairs, it will comfortably house a standard 85cm pop-up banner.

The postal code V92 HD4V will bring you to the North Campus. When you come to the roundabout (see map below), take the second exit on the right.
WHERE CAN I PARK ON CAMPUS?
Designated parking is available for all exhibitors. Members of staff will be there on the day to help you with any requests that you may have.

By Car
From Dublin/Limerick
If travelling by road you should take the N7 South from Dublin and follow directions to Tralee. If travelling from Limerick you can take the N21 or N69 and follow directions for Tralee.
From Cork/ Killarney
If travelling by road from Cork take the N22 and follow directions to Tralee.
From Rosslare
If travelling by road from Rosslare, take the N25 and follow directions to Tralee.
